Drivers Age
It is important that the driver concerned has reached the age of 23. However, you must have a valid driving license for at least 4 years.
Price
Price includes: All taxes, unlimited kms, pick up/ drop off, additional driver, road assistance and third party insurance.
Period
Minimal rental period is 26 HOURS.
Licence
Anyone interested in renting a car in Santorini should have a valid driving license where it will be valid for at least 12 months. Licenses that will be in non-Roman alphabet for example Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese etc. They must also have an international driving license. Drivers who are from countries which are not part of the international driving license should be accompanied by an official translation.
Payment
You can pay by cash or a valid card (Credit or Debit) . We don’t keep any deposit also a personal valid card (Credit or Debit) is required! Also we accept Visa or MasterCard only.
Vehicle Collection
When collecting the vehicle, the renter will be given a Rental Agreement which has to check and sign. The Rental Agreement will show all services and insurances provided as well as any extra services/insurances that the renter might request with their relevant charges.
It is very important that the renter checks and reports any means of damages on the vehicle in order to avoid any charges regarding damages caused by a previous renter. The renter has to sign at collection/delivery a condition form for any damages on the vehicle.
Collection / Delivery
Free of charge from the port and airport.
Fuel Policy
You should return the car filled up to the same level of fuel as that of the time of pick up.
Extra Charges
Also all rentals charged based on a 24 hour billing period. Only when a rental exceeds a cycle of 24 hours will any additional day(s) charge apply.

Ferrying the car
Ferrying the car: Forbidden!
In case the renter returns the vehicle and it’s cabin has stains which require a special cleaning procedure he will have to pay the damages.
Rental extension
If the renter wants to keep the vehicle longer than the contracted period, he will have to contact us in order to extend his Rental Agreement.
If does not, will be charged the double price by day the vehicle has to be refueled by the client.
Parking fines/ traffic offences
Also the renter of the vehicle is solely responsible for any traffic offence fines and related administration fees incurred during their rental period.
Insurance
Car rental insurance is essential, and we offer a range of packages to meet your needs during your stay on Santorini Island.
Our cars are insured against theft, broken glass, third party damage except for a) driver and passengers b) our own vehicle.
1) CDW-Collision Damage Waiver.
The renter is covered for any damage to the rental vehicle:
- over € 600 for car category A, B, C (10 € / day)
- over € 800/1000 for car category D, SUV (10 0r 12 € / day)
To qualify for coverage, you must comply with local traffic laws and drive legally. Please note that the insurance does not cover tire damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, or the loss or theft of personal belongings.
2) SCDW-Extras Collision Damage Waiver.
The renter is covered for any damage to the rental vehicle:
- over 350 € for car category A, B, C (20 € / day)
- over 400/500/600 € + VAT for car category D, SUV (24 € / day)
Again, you must drive legally and follow local traffic laws to qualify for coverage. Tire damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, and the loss or theft of personal belongings are not covered.
